Las Vegas Weddings

Las Vegas is also known as the ‘Wedding Capital of the World’, and over 5.5% of all the marriages that take place within the United States, take place in Sin City.

On virtually every corner, you will find a wedding chapel and most of the hotel-casinos offer their venue for the big day. At last count, there were well over 35 wedding chapels in a city of around 500 000 permanent residents!

What makes Las Vegas such an attractive destination for young lovers is that apart from the ease and cost of obtaining a marriage licence, there are literally dozens of themed weddings to choose from.

Graceland Chapel, which has been marrying couples for over 50 years now, offers their signature ‘Elvis’ Wedding, where the couple make their vows in front of an Elvis look alike! Celebs like Jon Bon Jovi and Billy Ray Cyrus tied the knot at Graceland!

Even the great Elvis Presley himself married his sweetheart, Priscilla Beaulieu at The Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas in 1967.
